PageRank™ FAQ's:
Is PageRank ™ Really Important?
An active and ongoing campaign to boost your PageRank is the most important investment you can make to bring more visitors to your web site.
Look at what Google says:
"The heart of our software is PageRank™, a system for ranking web pages developed by our founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin at Stanford University. And while we have dozens of engineers working to improve every aspect of Google on a daily basis, PageRank continues to provide the basis for all of our web search tools." (Read more . . .)
Even though PageRank ™ is a trademarked Google technology, it is based on the principle of other relevant web pages linking to your web site to endorse your content, products or services. Other search engines, such as Yahoo and MSN, will calculate these same links (back links or in links) in their Link Popularity calculations, effectively resulting in an importance and search engine results ranking boost.
None of the search engines will publicly state exactly how they calculate Link Popularity or PageRank. What we know is learnt through analysis and observation. We are confident that PageRank or Link Popularity is the single most important factor in calculating your search engine rankings and firmly believe in an active and ongoing link building campaign.
